Geocache Description:

4thAnnual SW Michigan
Chili Cook Off

Another year has gone by and it's once again time for the South West Michigan Chili Cook Off. It's hard to believe this will be the 4th year of this event and what an event it has turned out to be. We look forward each year to another great event and another great presentation. This year we will have the privilege of hearing all about "Where I Go" caches from Khan Hollis aka. The Conman

The first year it was the white chili's that dominated and in year #2 it was a green chili that took home the Grand Prize and the 3rd year a white chili won it again, I think it's about time for a red chili to win. So this year I can't wait to see what great chili's we get to enjoy. So start your experimenting and come up with your best recipe.  Post to the page that your going to bring a pot of chili, give it a name and we'll add you to the list. The cook off will be limited to the first 10 people to respond with what type of chili they will be bringing. A note posted to the cache page will work.

The event page will be updated with a list of who’s brining what.  All preparation will need to be done before hand and brought to the event in crock pots to keep it warm.  If your not into making chili we would welcome other food items or some 2 liters of  Non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.

When making your pot of chili, PLEASE make a pot large enough to serve approx. 175-200 people.

Serving size approx. 1/4 cup

Each year several people have run out early, so be sure to come prepared for a BIG crowd.
