Geocache Description:

Welcome to the fifth in the “Swirl, Sip & Savour”, the stages of wine making series of caches “Crushing”. Take note of the co-ord section at the top of the cache log. When all caches of the series are found you will have the complete co-ords to the final mystery cache "Headache"

This is a micro cache in the form of a film canister and should not be hard to grab. Please remember to bring along a pen/pencil.

This cache is on a lovely stretch of road that has many majestic old gum trees bordering each side of the road. There are many boutique wineries in the area that are now delving into all aspects of the wine making process, not only growing but crushing their grapes on site.

After you have found all eight (8) caches in the series you will be led to the end Mystery Cache, “Swirl, Sip & Savour – Headache”.

The series will take you throughout the magnificent Hunter Valley and its many great landscapes.

Whether finding all of the caches takes you a matter of hours or even weeks to complete, our aim is for people to experience the vineyards for all they have to offer during every season. Please enjoy the experience and beautiful scenery as we have.
