Event Time: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Please come and join us to celebrate the love and joy of geocaching. This will be a casual event with many fun things to do. Great place for the newbies to meet the caching greats of the Houston area.

Vroom... Vroom...: HGCS Travel Bug Race 2008. We will be awarding the cachers who owned the travel bugs which traveled the furthest, 1st and 2nd place spots and the travel bug which was placed in most caches, 1st and 2nd place. The official travel time will be cut off on February 14th at 10:00 p.m. - no exceptions.
Path Tags, Path Tags - A very special tag has been designed by LeeDesigns for this event. They are very limited and are limited one per geocaching family/name. You must attend the event to receive a tag. No exceptions - they are limited.
Geo-Food - Pot Luck Dinner. Please, on your will attend, list the meal you will provide for the dinner, or send georeynozos a private email. I will keep an active list on the Event Page.
Geowoodstock, Travel Bugs, Geocoins, New GPS - This is the place to discuss plans, finds and new ideas. The clubhouse has wifi, so bring your computers to officially log your visit or look up caches or create a route to GW7.
Wanna race again for 2009 - Bring a Travel Bug/Coin (up to 5 tbs allowed) and they will be launched from the event. To change up the event somewhat, please bring a resemblance of the avatar you go by on the HGCS forum. This should add a little mix and fun to the official race of 2009. Please label your tb as HGCS 2009 Race: geocaching name -- or whatever makes you happy!!
There will be caches placed around the event, but for casual fun (and prizes). Geopoker will be played at the clubhouse but we have a new spin on the game, come check it out!
I will update the Event Page as time permits. Please place the event page on your watch list to keep you updated on meal additions and additional information.
