Geocache Description:

Did you know that Aunt Tiggie and Unkie Mike are cat people... Both of them have been known to rescue many cats over the years.

Thanks to a cache hunt, on November 27th, 2008 Tigquilt and MSCREP were involved in a very important rescue.

As they headed out on a cache run, to SQUATTERS RIGHTS (GC1J5MK), Tiggie and Mike saw three cute little kitties near the gate at the enterence to trails. Near the gate was a box in which the kittens had been dumped..

Since the kitties were a bit on the skittish side, our heroes had to drive 10 miles to purchase some food to draw out the little ones.

Since it was dark by the time the cute kitties were scooped up, fed and offered a warm car ride… Unkie Mike had to take them home for the night. (I don’t think he minded lol). Given that he had to call them something during their pajama party, I heard one was named meandmydogs, the second was 2geohounds and the third was named RJB.. LOL

Such cute kittens should have easily found a home. Well the local animal shelter likely found a wonderful family for these little cuties.

THis is only one reason why Tigquilt and MSCREP are my heroes.

I will never understand how someone can dump any innocent animal when there are wonderful facilities to help them find loving homes.. and while I am at it.. don’t forget to neuter your pets. .
