New cache, logbook and location. Pen provided, so tell me a story, and be sure to post pics of the restoration as it progresses.
First and most important, STAY OFF THE BRIDGE! The cache is close, but not in a place where you might have to put yourself in any danger to retrieve it. Cabin Creek Bridge is the only covered bridge in Lewis County, and it looks as though it will stay that way. Restoration equipment is on hand in the form of an internal steel truss. Looks like the Cabin Creek Bridge is going to get the same treatment that Robertson County's Johnson Creek Bridge recently got.
