Behind my house runs the hike & bike trail that was once part of the old "Rochester, Syracuse and Eastern Electric Railroad Trolley".
The trail is gravel and flat and fine for bikes and strollers in good weather. This multi should be an easy stroll and a great place to take the kids or dogs. Coordinates take you to the first waypoint.
No need to go onto any private property, please observe any "private property" signs.
Since the part of the trail near me is "cacheless" at this time I decided to have a bit of fun with the Trolley theme. Now, let us pretend the Trolley is still running here in the days of Geocaching!
You are sitting around drinking coffee/hot chocolate on a day off, you remember you need to go to the drugstore to pick up some supplies you are out of for Geocaching. Why not leave the car in the nearest Park & Trolley (N43 04.760 W077 25.561) and grab the Trolley to pick up the items you need?
So make your shopping list and head out.
This is a multi-cache with a several waypoints; at each you will find information you can write down or items you can just take with you to get you to the next stage and eventually after "shopping in all the aisles" you will reach the "checkout" . Unless you wish to keep the waypoint clues as souvenirs, you can re-cycle them in the final. Just leave them in the bag with the logbook.
Waypoints all have small Lock-N-Lock containers and the final is a plastic ammo can.
The Final is stocked with the log and small drugstore related items, feel free to trade. If you can stay with the theme, GREAT, but I will also restock every once in a while. Travel bugs and coins are always welcome and will fit in any of the waypoint containers also. Because many muggles use the trail, please be extra careful to re-hide the caches well. Have fun!
