Geocache Description:

This cache is a large clip box container containing swaps. The Lodge, although strictly in the Parish of Fixby, offers fine views over Rastrick and rooms are always available for weary travel bugs. Please swap your tired travel bug for a rested one to send it on its way.

Please do not park or drive to this cache via Toothill Lane North as it is very narrow and used by its residents and local farm vehicles. Parking is best in Lightridge Road.

This cache can form part of a circular route around Rastrick, a named derived from the Vikings for this high ground area on which they settled above the River Calder.

There is no set starting point for the route but in addition to the four caches I have placed are three existing caches that will form a pleasant circular route.

Your route could now take in:

Pinfold Coin Bank

Calder Valley View

Brighouse Marina

Woodhouse Wander

Bradley Wood

Toothill Totter
