A New Year's Day hide in Wharton, Texas. Whenever we come to visit family in Wharton, we almost always end up going to Hinze's, a landmark Texas BBQ joint. Yum! In 2014, the restaurant at this original location succumbed to a kitchen fire and was permanently closed (their big sign remains!). Later that year, the Hinze ("hints") family started selling their nationally recognized BBQ from a new smaller location on the main drag in Wharton, just a few miles away. You are looking for a small, black container. Should be an easy park-n-grab along Hwy 59.
