Ringkollkapellet
The whole story:
[NOR] Ringkollen er det mest populære utgangspunktet for skiturer i den nord-vestre delen av Oslomarka. I nærheten finnes det også alpinanlegg, hoppbakker, en skistue og et kapell. Ringkollkapellet ble reist i 1982 av innsamlede midler på den gamle setervollen til Gjermundbo gård. Her lå tidligere den første Ringkollstua, også kalt Turisten. Ringerikes store utfartssted helt fra 1890-årene inntil det brant ned i 1970. Kapellet drives av en selveiende stiftelse utgått av menighetene på Ringerike. Gudstjenester holdes gjerne hver søndag i turistsesongen høst og vinter, og det er da også åpent for kiosksalg og servering. Kapellet brukes også til møter, og tar i mot ungdomsforeninger og grupper for overnatting.
Selve cachen er et PET-rør som kun inneholder en logg. Ta med din egen blyant.
[ENG] The Ringkollen area is the most popular starting point for cross country skiing in the north-western part of Oslomarka. In the neigborhood there are also a alpine skiing slope, a cafeteria and a chapel. The Ringkollen Chapel was built in 1982 payed by collected foundings on the old cottage field of Gjermundbo farm. The chapel is built on the same place as the old turist station Ringkollstua, also called Turisten, was situated. The tourist station was destroyed in a fire in 1970.
The cache itself is a PET-tube and it contains only a log. Bring your own pencil.
