Paul Harvey would begin his show with "Hello Americans, This Is Paul Harvey..." and end it with "And now you know the rest of the story."
Many of us log our finds with quick find, easy cache, cache and dash or something like that.
Some will go as far as, "tough find" when they really mean that it was their fourth trip and had three hints.
Others might say that they made it harder than it was and leaves the reader wondering what really happened.
Here is your chance to tell the rest of the story.
When you log this cache, tell about an interesting geocache that you found and the problems that you had.
This is an easy geocache so take some time to tell, "The rest of the Story."
Here is my story:
This geocache is still active so I don't want to give anything away other than it is in a heavily wooded area near Colorado springs.
This was in my early days when I tried this geocache. On my first trip I couldn't find the first waypoint.
On the second trip I had a partner and found the first waypoint but not the second.
On the third trip I had different partner.
I wanted to find the first WP again and had a tough go of it even though I knew right where it was when the batteries died in the GPSr and it was getting dark.
Well no problem because I had a backup set. They were dead so I had to find the car by compass.
On the fourth trip Audrey was with me and we found all of the waypoints but became separated and I was the only one with a GPSr.
There were some anxious moments until we reconnected and called it a day. The good news was that I now had all of the waypoints and knew where the final was.
Audrey demanded that she be in on the kill so on the fifth trip we succeeded with geocache number 500.
And now you know the rest of the story.
