Geocache Description:

While the approach to the cache is fine, there is a very short climb required that may not be suitable for all people to attempt. Remember - what you go up you have to come down. :)

This is a popular surf/swim beach, and the cache is named after the Mountain Bike Track which is visible as it returns to the beach site not far from the cache site.

The Port Hills in Christchurch are laced with such tracks. Many difficulty levels are covered. The Anaconda itself is a twisty, windy, downhill trail from Godley Head. The final part, approaching this beach area, is the "snake's tail".

The cache itself is a 400ml green systema container. It is above head height but fairly simple to access and retrieve.

Note to all cachers: Remember to trade equal or up. Items you drop in should be at least as interesting, valuable, or cool, as the ones you take out - preferably more so. Trade up every cache and improve the game! :)
