Tagg Wood Trundle, located in woodland near to Ramsbottom.
The cache is a small container, and is located near to a footpath in Tagg Wood. The footpath is one which leads up to Holcombe, and could be combined with other caches to make a day out caching on Holcombe Moor and around Ramsbottom. The cache is located in the woodland off to the side of the footpath. It can be muddy and slippy underfoot.
There are a variety of ways to gain access to Tagg Wood , all of them on public footpath, and it is a secluded woodland near to the town.
The cache site wouldn't be suitable for wheelchair or pram users - sorry.
