Geocache Description:

A long time ago, I was caching with a certain Metalhead when this idea came to me for a series of caches in his honor. That was close to a decade ago, but the seed planted so many years ago has finally germinated.

This third cache in the Monsters of Rock (MoRe) extended series is more in line with the original Innervisions cache where all you have to work with is the album art, so it is a bit trickier than the first two. For this one and the last one, all the clips are culled from songs that, when released on vinyl at least, were over 10 minutes long. Some of these you'll certainly recognize from their shortened radio edit versions, others you may need to fire up Shazam to discover.

Many of my most cherished albums fall into this category. From Jethro Tull's exquisitely crafted "Thick as a Brick" and "A Passion Play" concept albums to The Pink Floyd's Orwellian cultural critique on "Animals", or Hawkwind's epic "You Shouldn't Do That", there are so many incredible works of Extended audio art out there that are rarely heard because they are so Monstrous in length, like my personal favorite from college DJ years, "Rainbow Rising", I hope that by working on this puzzle, you find some desire to dust off your crate of old records, cause you're never too old to rock and roll if you're too young to die!.

First assign the letters A-J to the song clips in the linked Monster Mash sequence, first clip is A, second B, and so forth. Once you have them figured out, you can assign corresponding numbers on the cover art grid to the letters to solve for the final cords.

Final Cords are: N44˚AB.CDE W88˚FG.HIJ
