Geocache Description:

On a good day this is a simple park and grab in a 4x4. If it is raining, or if the road is wet, I would suggest you park and walk in. Do not attempt to drive to this cache if you don’t have a 4x4.

Caution, Coords tend to bounce alot in this area. Have checked them with several devices. they are good.

This is my first cache placement. Geocaching is all about adventure, and this one ranks right up there.
This adventure is more about the trip than the destination.
County Road 860 West is maintained by Dubois County. I use the word maintained very loosely. I have traveled this 3/4 mile stretch of road many times in the past on my bike, and even a couple times in my Toyota 4x4. I knew this was the place for my first cache.
Today, however, it was raining. I looked at it and thought I could make it…I should have considered it longer! 860 West was a big mud hole! I was stuck for 45 minutes, in and out of the ditch. I even considered walking home and leaving the truck there. After a little work, and about 50 yards going down the road sideways with the rear end of the truck still in the ditch, I finally got it back up on the road.
I placed the cache in a camouflaged Tupperware container with a few trinkets and a log (BYOP). Finding it should be easy.
