Geocache Description:

While out caching a little while back, I stopped to take a break and plan the next part of my caching day. I was parked the next parking lot over from one of my caches I had just finished doing maintainence on. The owner of the store where I was parked came out to dump the trash and ask if he could help me. I said "no" and explained Grocaching to him, even giving him a flyer. He then made the statement, "So that is why people are always taking up my parking spots,". He then walked away and said something about wishing we would stay away and leave the parking spots for "paying customers". When I was finished with my planning, I went into the store and spent over $20 on snacks, sodas and other stuff making sure the owner saw me. I told him that we really were a good bunch of people and that when I stopped and took up a paying customer spot, I tried to be a paying customer too. He said he was sorry for the way he acted and then laughed that I could come and park at his store any time.

All that being said, when you are out caching and find your self parked near or at a place of business, stop in and shop. Because if that business was not there, you would not have just added a smiley to your total. Think of it as our way of adding to THEIR smiley total.
