hookline: Apologies de ja vu. Access was indeed supposed to be from Lakeside Road. There were no barbed wire fences when the cache was placed. It seems things have changed in the intervening years.
I have archived the cache as I don't want people to be trespassing. A shame to lose access to this amazing spot. Thanks for the information.
