Great swimming beach in the Waiotaka reserve
Bring the kids, your swimming trunks and a picnic to this nice safe swimming beach on the south eastern shores of Lake Taupo.
Waiotaka reserve is 7km from sunny Turangi. Turn off SH1 onto Frethey Road.
Toilets and changing rooms and picnic tables all there to enjoy.
STEALTH will be essential on a sunny summer day due to hordes of muggles and their curious children enjoying the spot... it is advisable to use your car as cover.
Hidden with the assistance of Xmuggle and using XenaCommanders GPS.. TK swiped it while while he was busy with his building project.
The cache was placed to mark a memorable impromptu cachers BBQ in Turangi 10/01/09 .....Attended by XenaCommander, Technokitten, Xmuggle, GuanoGerbil and NoFixedAbode. An excellent evening was had by all.
Container is a vitamin tube in a TK camo coat.
