Tom’s Tops
This cache is for a well known SJG cacher that brings fun and laughter to every caching adventure you go on with him and the rest of the TSEmclarney clan. It just so happens he is collecting bottle caps (of the metal kind) for a home project. And since Tom is always there when you need someone to climb a tree, or fix a hydro-locked motor or stand in the middle of massive puddles and direct a bunch of 4x4 cachers through (or pull you out of the same puddle when you don't listen to his advice) we figured we'd help him out as a sign of our collective SJG gratitude!
So here’s to Tom! One of the best of the best! A man who has no problems calling 3 PAF’s for a cache hidden in plain site and who has no problems caching in NYC in a bright pink shirt! You can always count on him to be there…as long as you can bribe him with a visit to the Pic for chili in a bread bowl and a cold one. (Oh, how fast he moves when he knows he’s going to the Pic....even faster than Lava!). Bring your various bottle caps to the cache for Tom’s collection. We ourselves have "sacrificed" many a beer in the name of Tom!
This is a (metal) bottle cap “drop” and log book only cache "coincidently" located between the Pic and the Wharton. An intentional quick cache and dash so as to make it easy for all to donate to Tom's cause! If you know Tom, please jot down your favourite story of him and/or his team (who knows, if they're good enough they may be incorporated into the cache description!). If you don’t know Tom …well, you just don’t know what you’re missing!
