Geocache Description:

Most of the trail not difficult, but the last few hundred feet are along an overgrown creek bed. Elevation 535 feet.

Use any of various access points to reach the primary walking/biking/horseback trail running east-west along the north shore of Grapevine Lake, east of Corp of Engineers Road and west of Copperhead Cove (High Road and Bolo Point). Follow the main trail until you see two metal culverts on the southwest side of the trail. Follow the creek path southwest. Look for the Three Branches Starbucks.

Most of the walking trail is easy, on Army Corp public areas. The last few hundred feet along the creek bed are worse, with areas with thorns, briars, pretty thick undergrowth. It may be inaccessible if there's been a lot of rain and the lake is very high. But hey, two 11-year olds accompanied me to place the cache, so how hard can it be?

Cache is a small, olive drab plastic box. Original contents include logbook, embossed key fob, LED keychain flashlight, lantern charm, Harley-Davidson Eagle emblem and skull & crossbones sticker.
