Geocache Description:

The cache is situated in the beautiful Marston Vale Country Park just a few minutes drive away from Milton Keynes and Bedford.

Why not after the Cache continue on and complete the circular walk (or bring your bike) and continue to our other caches. If you choose, why not stop of at the Forest of Marston Vale Centre (visit link) and relax in the Lakeside Cafe and Bar. Parking is also available here. (N 52° 03.893 W 000° 32.135) The Car Park is free and open to the public from 10am – 4pm in winter or until 6pm in summer. If you have younger children there is also a small adventure playground and toilets.

The Millennium Country Park is open all year round to visitors for all kinds of recreation; there are 8 kilometres of traffic free, surfaced trails for walkers and cyclists (fully resurfaced in 2007), a separate horse trail, a nature reserve wetland area where you can search for wildlife and a network of footpaths. The Forest Centre has a lakeside café where you can savour a coffee or a glass of wine with fresh food, a gift shop and a thriving conference centre for events and workshops. All of which contributes to the charity being able to plant more trees! There is a Sensory Garden, bicycle hire and two children’s play areas close to the forest centre so you wont have to go far to enjoy your day out. The park is a fabulous mix of woodland, wetland and grassland with both formal and wild areas. The park itself was created in 2000, the two lakes in the park were Brickwork pits and the wetlands were arable land.

If you’re lucky you may even get a glimpse at some power Boat Racing, Angling, Skiing or Sailing Activities at the nearby Stewartby Water Sports Club www.stewartby.org.uk at Stewartby Lake.

The cache is a 'Plastic Container' and easily identifiable as a geocache

The Cache can be found at N 52°04.064 W000°32.264
