Geocache Description:

This traditional cache is located on a public footpath / track running from Lower Stonnall to Stonnall.

'Red sky in the morning Shepherd's warning'
When I checked out this site it was early in the morning, very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful red sky.
Stonnall village is very close to the Stafforshire border, in the District of Lichfield.
Gravelly Lane which you can use to access the cache zone is narrow, and has passing places, so take care. There is some parking in Lower Stonnall.
The track is level but can be a little muddy, it is also used by horses as was evident today.
The cache is placed in a mature hedge-row, made up of a mix of hedging plants and established trees and is camouflaged with natural folliage.
It is a small klip & lock box in camo bag, filled with a variety of noo boo goodies, also log book, pencil and pencil sharpener. There is a special geocaching gift for FTF. The box is full just now, but should have space for small travel bugs and geocoins.

Very well done to Dai Owen, congratulations on being FTF within 45 minutes of posting
