Geocache Description:

Many years ago a friend took me for a horseback ride to Medco Ponds. We started on the Lodge Pole Road and rode backroads and trails to this pond. Then I discovered that the main road goes right to the ponds too and there were people everywhere! We still do this ride at least once a year because it is so pretty. Well, in January there were not a lot of people around. I think ice fishing would be popular but no one was out on the pond. We thought a scenic view of the pond for the cache would be best, and more accessible if there were a lot of people around. You are looking for a small screw-top plastic container - camoed of course. It contains a few trade items and a log.
