This is one of a number of swimming holes to explore in the
region, what makes this one attractive is the deep (3m+) part
beside a 3m bank which the local kids launch themselves off.If you
look closely at the pic below, in the centre, you will see a small
plank nailed to the tree (I didnt do it) which they get extra
height from
Take care in traversing the boulder dam as it is unstable and
possibly slippery, if you are concerned just walk in the water
(knee deep max) beside the dam.
DONT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WHILST THE RIVER IS IN FLOOD, YOU
MAY
BE SWEPT AWAY!!
The cache is a small plastic jar about 60cms from the ground,
its situated behind the path that is on top of the bank opposite
where you you will come in.
