QuartzCachers: I sure hate to archive this one, but it until they complete the refurbishing of the cemetery and it gets back to normal, we should stay out I think. I will place a new one here when they are finished with the work.

A small cache hidden in an OLD cemetery.
I was discussing cemeteries with Zeke of Zeke and George fame, and he said that an old timer had told him about a cemetery out here that he remembered coming to as a child. He said it was old then, so of course when Zeke told me he couldn't get to this one I jumped at the chance. I took the rough directions given to me, and went out this way. I brought up the maps on my GPSr, and started looking. Sure enough, the old fellow was true to his word, and there was a cemetery icon on my screen. We finally figured out that going through the Village would be the best way to get to this one, and so that's what we did. There is a turn off of highway 5, that will get you here, but we were in the small car and not the truck. There is a large mudhole at the beginning of that road, so be careful here.
This is one of the coolest old cemeteries I have seen! Many of the graves are sunken, the stones are all crooked, in short it is a spooky place.
The newest grave I could find was one from 1962. Some were from the first quarter of the last century, most were from the 1800's.
