Geocache Description:

A short walk on the outskirts of Dorchester.Lovely rural views over
flood meadows, mainly grassy with some short steep sections. A much
loved walk of our wheaten terrier Lucky.

This 5 point multi cache will take you around some of the less well known areas of roman history to the north west of Dorchester. You will walk around the Poundbury camp which dates back to the Bronze age and then to the site of the Aqueduct which was build in Roman times to bring water from a nearby farm to the baths and their fort in Dorchester.

More details of these archaeological sites can be found at
(visit link)

Following a few DNF's I have now included a photo of the 'unusual' cache container in the images - hope this helps.
