Geocache Description:

A Tribute to the Townies (Everyone Welcome)

Parking can be found at the following location in lower cascades:
N39 11.646 W86 32.132

If you cross the bridge from the parking lot and follow the creek back, you will have to climb a small slope.
If you take the gravel trail up, it's only several yards from the trail.

This cache is a tribute to all those local B-town folk. You're looking for an ammo box. For those of us who have grown up here, or spent a significant amount of our lives here in this fine town, this is for you! But of course everyone else is welcome. Please trade only Bloomington/Indiana related items, and feel free to write what you love most about Bloomington.

This area of cascades is a fond place in Bloomington for me. I grew up in a house on Kinser Pike right across the upper road and came to this area all the time to explore and walk our chow dogs. I remember coming to the waterfall here in the winter and the entire thing was frozen top to bottom. Enjoy!

Starting contents include: Townie items (Cougar Leader t-shirt, BHSN parking pass ’05-‘06, Showplace 12 movie stub, local artist Janiece Jaffe CD) and other goodies (Mad Drake TB, ping pong ball, small pendant/earring, and “Smush-Bush” squeezable toy, magic card, POGs, and my card.)
