It's time for our annual bash and we wanted to do something a
little different this year. The event will be held at the
Integratron in Landers, CA. There will be a guided tour of the
Integratron, followed by as much caching as you can handle! The
tour costs $10 per person, and you can pay at the event if you
choose to take the tour. Saturday April 18th at 10:00am.
The Integratron is one of those unique places in the desert, and if
you have never seen it, it's time to visit. You can read about it
on their website at. http://integratron.com/Welcome.html . A brief
description from the webpage:
The Integratron is an acoustically perfect tabernacle and energy
machine sited on a powerful geomagnetic vortex. Tours are
docent-led, providing an historical timeline of the Integratron's
amazing history, its UFO connection, unique rejuvenative
properties, the unusual architecture, and its original intent as an
electrostatic generator.
Our group can play in the acoustically perfect sound chamber, read
some of George Van Tassel's writings, historical articles, see the
nostalgic photos of the Integratron, and have a personal experience
of the Integratron's energy and sound phenomenon.
If you cannot come for the tour, please join us for caching
throughout the rest of the day!
***UPDATE 4.11.09 *** Parking for event at 2477 Belfield Landers,
CA... We are so looking forward to seeing everyone!! There is open
camping near Giant Rock for anyone who is interested. Lots of room
for dirt bikes or quads or 4x4s or... Jeeps!!! All dirt roads out
there but nothing really requiring 4WD, although some roads get a
little sandy in spots.
