DISABLING YOUR CACHE
Greetings,
Here are a few reasons for your cache to be disabled:
What do I do as an owner when this happens?
-
Go to the cache location ASAP and verify that the cache container is indeed missing.
A. If it is missing, then you should either replace the container or write a note about your maintenance plans.
b. If the container is replaced, then write an Owner's Maintenance log note.
HOW TO LOG THIS.
c. Once the owners' maintenance log has been submitted, then you will need to enable your cache page for all to find once again.

- If you are unable to go to the cache location, then write a note (a note to the reviewer, not an owner's maintenance note) about what your maintenance plan is for the cache. By doing this, your cache will not be archived due to inattention.
- If you no longer wish to keep the cache active then you, as the cache owner, can archive the cache. HOW DO I ARCHIVE A CACHE I OWN?
- Remember, once archived by you or the reviewer it will not be unarchived due to no maintenance. Cache archival is permanent, so please respond so that this does not happen. CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.
If this is not yet disabled, I am temporarily disabling your cache at this time to allow you to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary. If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) in the VERT near future, so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.
Cache archival is permanent, so please respond so that this does not happen.
Many thanks,
Glenn
