Who's Your Hero? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Who’s your hero?

Websters definition of a hero:

he•ro Pronunciation: \'hir-(?)o\ Function: noun
2: a man or women admired for his or her achievements and noble qualities d: one that shows great courage
4: an object of extreme admiration and devotion

Everyone has their Hero’s. Be them famous, patriotic, legendary, fictitious, or just a friend or family member. My husband, Pete, is my hero. As cheesy as it may sound, sometimes “death do us part” can be an easy out! Especially with what we’ve put each other through in 13 years! It’s the littlest things he does that make him a hero to me. Last Saturday I had left work after 2am (well after his bedtime) gotten lost in an undesirable location and had serious car trouble. Of course he’s the first one I called. He answered the phone with a very sleepy voice and said he would be right there. It’s a 35 minute drive from Medford to Pennsauken and he showed up to rescue me without one minor complaint….just doing his duty. That’s the thing; he NEVER acts like it’s his duty! He always WANTS to be there to help anyone. So here’s to my Hero!

This cache is for all the Padre Pedro’s out there that are heroes to someone. Please feel free to share your hero stories, as insignificant as they may seem to anyone else but you.

Footnote: I placed this cache at a site that is a Memorial to James Gardner Jr. I did a little research to find out more about this spot and its honouree. This area is property of the Indian Mills Methodist Church and was dedicated in memory of a young parishioner that lost his life suddenly. I have permission from the pastor to place the cache here. He was very excited to hear of interest of this location and is eager to have visitors. The area could use some maintence and would be an ideal spot for a charity clean up or eagle project. Please contact me or the pastor if you’re interested in helping clean up this great spot!

Please let me know if the coords are soft or need adjusting
