Geocache Description:

So Gal and Grammy were out and about on a chilly winter day touring through Wharton. Suddenly I slowed down, what was that up ahead? It wasn’t huge, but definitely too big for a dog or a deer. And it sort of loped or lumbered along. I knew I wasn’t crazy because Grammy spotted it too.

We rounded a curve and sure enough right in front of us was a bear up a pine tree. He was clinging on for dear life. To remember this really cool day we placed a cache not too far away. From ground zero if you look just down the road, in a pine, you too might say, “There’s a bear up there!” Let us know if you see him!

This cache is a scuba bison with a logsheet. You will need to have a pen or pencil. The higher terrain difficulty is due to the sandy road needed to get back here.
