Oldbury Hill This delightful area of mixed woodland incorporates a huge Iron Age fort built sometime between 150 and 50 BC. The best time to explore for the bank and ditch defences is on a crisp winter day when the leaves have fallen. There are excellent circular walks in the vicinity, with interpretation material on site. The historic attractions of Igtham Mote and St. Peter's Church in Igtham village make this a full day out.
