MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:


On the White Farm trails.
We were amazed that there were no caches on these trails, so we got off our butts and hid some.

In the winter, there are groomed cross country ski trails here. We started on the trail for foot traffic, but somehow ended up on the ski trails. At the end we passed a sign that asked all foot traffic to stay off the ski trails, oops. So be warned don’t walk on the ski trails.

As we hid the cache, we could hear the skiers going by, but if you’re quiet, they zoom right by with out noticing you.

Bring your own pencil incase the one inside goes missing.

The White Farm trail info states to park on the shoulder of Clinton St, but there were several cars in the farm driveway where people where prepping to ski and we parked there with no issue. If you are looking for a longer outing, you can also park at Memorial Field and follow the trails over from there.
