Geocache Description:

A multi cache situated on an ancient highway near St. Mark’s

The large boulders lining the road came from Granite Mountain, Foxdale when the ice melted at the end of the Ice Age. They were probably moved by people from fields nearby so that the fields could be cultivated. Many boulders are hidden by undergrowth now.

This area has beautiful views of unspoilt Manx countryside.

The highway is surprisingly well used and may be muddy in places.

Once you have found the micro the co-ordinates will lead you to the cache which is a small box originally containing a log book and pen, small swops and Geocoins:
