Valley Records was the biggest music distributor this side of the Mississippi back in the early 90's when the music industry was booming. Unfortunately, a bad business decision and Internet file sharing eventually doomed Valley Records along with many other stores in the music business.
For years they held the "Valley-Palooza" a staff party supporting bands featuring some of their musical employees such as: Moon Dog Mane, 11/17 and my best friends band Metalfest, with yours truly playing the bass.
Major label artist's would show up for live performances and meet & greets, Including; Blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Country star Garth Brooks and the Rock band Scorpions. I got to meet and see Cheap Trick play live not more than 350 feet from this cache location. Good Times!
This cache was placed with my buddy and ex-Valley employee JTKBassman in memory of Valley Records and the cool people who worked here. Rock On! \m/
