Reviewer Revan: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so I am regretfully archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements.

Geocache Description:

Easy walking/biking trail most of the way. Creekbed is pretty easy to navigate. Altitude 573 feet.

From any of various access points, get on the primary walking/biking/horseback trail that runs east-west along the north shore of Grapevine Lake. The trail segment you want is roughly east of Corp of Engineers Road and west of Shady Trail Lane. Follow the trail to an intermittent stream crossing, where you'll see three large concrete culverts (visible in aerial photos, no less!) on the north side of the trail, in the stream bed.

Follow the stream bed north about 250 feet, until you see a unique tree on the east side of the stream bed. It's a tree with two boles, and the root between makes a great bench. It looks like a perfect contemplative spot to seek enlightenment.

The cache is in the crook of a separate tree, about 30' east, visible (if you look carefully) from the root bench.

The cache is a small, olive-drab box. Original contents include logbook, a seated Buddha figurine, lantern charm, 60" retractable tape measure, Texas armadillo key fob, bug-shaped fridge magnet, and some outdoor-themed dimensional stickers. All in small, sealed plastic bags.
