Geocache Description:

Der Cache ist in der Nähe eines Gedenksteins für die Opfer eines Unglücks beim Bau des Isardükers am 18. Juni 1924. / The cache is nearby of a memorial stone which is to commemorate the dead of workers on the Isar-culvert 1924.

Obwohl beinahe am Isarhochweg gelegen, wird dieser Gedenkstein von Radlern und Wanderern kaum wahrgenommen. Er erinnert an die beim Bau des Isardükers durch ein Fährunglück ertrunkenen Bauarbeiter.
