All the Walnuts burnt up but don't worry... the trees will grow back and come Springtime, you'll once again be able to enjoy the shade and the walnuts! Beautiful vistas on the way up to or down from Mission Point, with views of San Fernando Valley, the Verdugos, San Gabriels and Bee Canyon
This cache is located on the Mission Point Trail and can be reached from many trailheads, but the most direct route is up from the main O'Melveny Park entrance at 17300 Sesnon Blvd.
You'll be looking for a camo'd pill bottle (as of 04/03/2016), with a logsheet (BYOP), plus some cool trade items for your fair trading pleasure.
There is absolutely no bushwhacking required... the cache is with one, maybe one and a half steps of the trail and within easy reach.
