Geocache Description:

This is is the second edition of my Fortress of Solitude cache, without the puzzle, but with a new cache container (with a gasket!).

This cache is hidden at the site of a fort that my best friend and I had established about 1.5 miles from our homes, in a fairly remote area. We chose the location because of the arching trees and the remoteness of the site. Satellite reception may not be the greatest in the area of the cache. There is a fairly steep hill about 300 feet from the cache.The devils club has since been tamed, so accessing the cache no longer requires brushwacking. The cache is a cammoed .30 ammo can. There are several other caches in the area, as well. Have fun and enjoy the solitude!
