This is our first cache, and we are placing it in memory of my mother, Shari. My beloved, couragous mother who battled bone cancer for five long years. She recieved her angel wings in 2002 at the age of 44 and will be forever missed by many. A mother, a nana, a friend, a daughter, a volunteer, a band parent, an inspiration - she was taken from us much too early. In my early childhood, my mom and I spent a lot of time at this stadium. She was employeed as a usher, and I was the bat girl. We spent countless weekends here and it felt fitting to add another cache to this area, in memory of her.
This is a camoed lock and lock filled with a few angel themed items, as well as some things for the little cachers on board. I hope you enjoy our cache as much as we enjoyed placing it and please replace it as you found it.
We did take out some trash, but it is still in need of major CITO. Also, high steps as there are some vines looking to trip you.
FTF prize is a beaded angel figurine that I beaded myself. I used to help my mom make these, and since she has passed - I have taken on the craft. Only if you so choose, if not - there's plenty of other things to grab. Happy Caching :)
