Voici les explications de Bruce
WOODY concernant l affaire DIE HAARD
On m 'a accusé à tort et de plus Bruce Willas était un
de mes amis. Je n 'avais aucune raison de m 'en prendre à lui ou à
ses biens.
D 'abord je ne travaille pas à la mine et puis mon métier de
bûcheron ne me laisse pas le temps de faire des bêtises.
Tout ce que je peux dire maintenant , c 'est que Bruce avait trouvé
un filon interessant . Avant son départ , il m 'en a
parlé et m ' a donné une partie des ses cartes topo de la région .
Je n 'ai pas tout gardé et ce qu 'il me restait est tombé de mon
tracteur un jour dans la forêt , lorsque je débardais de grands
hêtres qui avaient été coupés. J' ai cherché longtemps pour
retrouver cette pochette avec les notes de Bruce.... je croyais
savoir ou je les avaient perdues ... mais rien. Elles sont encore
dans le bois !

Ich wurde fälschlig beschuldigt und ferner war Bruce Willas einer
meiner
Freunde. Ich hatte keinen Grund, mich seiner oder seinen Gütern
anzunehmen.
Erstens arbeite ich nicht in der Mine und zweitens kann ich mir
als
Holzfäller es nicht leisten, Dummheiten zu machen. Alle was ich
jetzt
sagen
kann, ist, dass Bruce eine interessante Vene gefunden hatte. Vor
seiner
Abfahrt hat er mir davon erzählt und mir einen Teil von
seinen
topologischen Karten vom Gebiet gegeben. Ich habe nicht behalten
und
die
übrigbebliebenen sind von meinem Traktor gefallen an einen Tag im
Wald,
als
ich große Bäume geschleppt habe, die geschnitten worden waren. Ich
hatte
lange Zeit gesucht um sie zu finden .... glaubend, wo ich sie
verloren
hatte... aber nichts. Sie sind noch in den Hölzern!

One accused me wrongly
and furthermore Bruce Willas was one of my
friends.
I had no reason to take me

interesting vein.

cards of the region. I didn't keep all of them
and
the one's which
remained fell of my tractor a day in the forest, when
I
hauled big trees that had
been cut. I had been looking for a long time
to
find them back.....
believing to know where I had lost them... but
nothing.
They are still in the
woods!
