This is a multi cache. The first Stage is on the campus of Rockford College. If you park close to the first stage you can only park for one hour. The final is in Aldeen Park.
The listed coordinates will bring you to Adams’ Arch on the campus of Rockford College. Adams` Arch is the only surviving remnant of Rockford Colleges` original campus. It was moved to this spot in 1975. Some say that it's haunted. If you listen you can hear the echoes of laughter of young women late at night. The sound of laughter echoing through empty halls. Rockford Female Seminary was founded in 1847, the twin to Beloit Seminary (College). The school began building a permanent campus near the Rock River in 1852. Adams’ Hall was built on that site. The school’s name was changed to Rockford College in 1892. You may remember that Jane Adams, co-founder of Hull House in Chicago, graduated from this institution. In 1964 the college began to move to it's new campus on East State Street. The old campus was demolished in 1968. There is no container at the first stage, but you will find a plaque with just a date. Designate that date as ABCD. Take AB and add it to the north coordinates at stage one. 42 16.208 plus AB = 42 16._ _ _ these are the final's North coordinates. Now add CD to 231 to get EFG , then add EFG to the West coordinates of the first stage to get the final West coordinates. CD plus 231 = EFG 089 01.240 plus EFG = 089 01 _ _ _ these are the final's West coordinates. The final is in Aldeen Park which adjacent to the college campus. The cache is about 25 feet off a trail.
