This cache is near the Salmon River about 15 miles down stream from Challis Idaho, between Challis and Ellis.To get to this cache pull off of highway 93 into a very nice camp ground, with lots of room for parking. In the spring there will probably be lots of steelhead fishermen camped here ,but cache is a little ways from the main camping area so park in the boat trailer parking area. Cache is a small round container with a screw lid, be careful not to cross thread the lid. Contains a log book and some small trade items. Happy Trails, Newton Creek
