Geocache Description:

the cache is located at an old roman fort,that is made on hilly ground coverd by grass and trees!! the walk is a gentle walk over well made grass and mud paths! it's a gentle climb up to the top!! may be muddy if been raining!! can take a buggy if dry!

the cache is a green metal box like a medical box!! which is located at the old fort!! or more locally called the gollars!! the terrain is well used mud and grass paths that criss cross all over the land!! it's an easy walk but can be a bit muddy if it's been raining! but you could access this with a buggy on a dry day!!
The land is coverd with ferns all summer and there are many trees there too! which atracts all type of insects,birds and some small animals! the area is great for walking dogs and many locals do so! and there are many lovely views of newport in all directions!
The land is well looked after and would appreciate people following the cache in trash out..
The old fort is next to the m4 and only takes a few minutes from junc 28. you can then couse 1 of 2 parking area's to choose from these are as follows:
1> 51.5711 degrees north
3.0215 degrees west

2> 51.5777 degrees north
3.0312 degrees west

both locations are sutible to park safetly!! and are about equal distance from cache.
but the first is generally less muddy!!

i've been intouch with the local council and they have give me permission to put the cache there.you can find more out about the area by looking at there website!!
and to find more local area's of intrest!! enjoy
