Geocache Description:

Another view from above of the city of Rock Springs, WY.

This cache gives one a view of Rock Springs from the eastside of the city. On a clear day like today one can see the snow capped Wind Rivers to the north, the city & White Mountain to the west, Wilkins Peak, the distant snow covered Unita mountains to the southwest and Aspen mountain to the southeast.

The cache is a blue top peanut jar. There are various dirt trails taking one up by foot, bike, or ride. I worked my way up from the north to the radar station further east and then came over from there.

The cache was hid on a wonderful calm sunny day in January 2009. This day we sworn in our new President of the United States.
