A new cache in one of Elmira’s fine parks.
After this previous cache was archived, I decided to place a new one. I hope that you enjoy this one and that it stays around for awhile.
I have it on good authority that motion picture pioneer Hal Roach spent his childhood at Grove Park. After his death in 1992, Elmira renamed the Grove Park pavilion Hal Roach Pavilion in his honor. This, unfortunately, burned down in March 2010. Thankfully, the structure was rebuilt and is available once again!
