Located on the southern Oregon Coast Highway 101 in one of Oregon's rain forests.
These rain forests are different from other forested areas, and are due to several localized conditions: a mild climate, protection from the prevailing winds, rich soil and an exceptionally heavy rainfall.
This has been a fun place to visit over the years from our childhood to present.
This cache was placed with the owner's permission; actually they assisted with cache location and name. The coordinates will get you to the general area. You will be searching for a camouflage box filled with dinosaur theme. You do not need to damage the vegetation looking for container.
The cache is a child friendly even though you may want to help the little one(s) around the highway. There is plenty of parking and even a place to have lunch.
Be sure to check out the gardens and even say hi when stopping by here - the kids will thank you.
