Geocache Description:


Update to activities: XiaDog will be meeting at 11am to lead people on a hunt for Will's First Cache - if you're interested, contact XiaDog via his profile
Also, after the meet at the library, we will be heading out for a pre-find of Alexa's Third Cache, which will be a short drive from the library and about a 1 mile r/t hike. Please contact XiaDog for more information if you desire. We should have plenty of time to track down the cache, and make it back for dinner at the Steaming Tender!

When: Saturday, February 21st, 12:30pm - 2:45pm
Where: Palmer Library Community Room, 1455 N. Main Street, Palmer
Note: There is parking at the library, but the parking lot is often quite full. Additional parking is across the street, at the coordinates listed below under 'additional waypoints'

Happily 2009 has brought us some snow!! That, and a whole lot of C O L D ! Looks like it's time for the 'Winter Warmup' geo-meet!

Join us for another installment of food, conversation and fun! We'll supply the hot chocolate, marshmallows and whipped cream. We'd love for you to bring along a snack to share. Again, this year, due to town budgetary issues, the library is only open until 3pm, so we're making this more of a lunchtime affair.

Event Buttons!!
Once again, the gracious team of Henry & Elly have offered to create event buttons to everyone that posts a 'will attend' log by February 15th. Please list number attending and names of your crew with your log. Contact Henry with any changes to your group!

Decorate-a-cache/Fill-a-cache
For the kids, or wannabe kids, we'll again have the cache containers primed and ready to be decorated, and we'll have the 'cache design station' set up for the decorating, so bring the kids!!!

Please bring along an item of swag to fill up the caches to be raffled off at the end of the event.

The Raffle
We'll have another raffle to finish up the event, so be sure to stick around to win some prizes!

The Rest
Of course we'll have travel bug table, and if you've never been to the Palmer Library, the kids will enjoy the great children's area of the library!

The Meet Continues
As usual, we'll be heading out to the Steaming Tender for dinner after the meet. However, as it'll only be 3pm, we'll have to find a cache or two before we eat.

We'll plan on being there at 5pm. Please advise in your log whether you'd like me to add your group to to the list for reservations!
