Drive-by.
Out on maintenance along one of our favourite stretches in Northumberland and with a novel idea in mind we spotted a little bridge that filled the bill very nicely, although the idea had to be re-jigged slightly to fit the circumstances. We know no more about the bridge than is written on the plaque, so would be very interested to hear any more information as to how it got the name for sure.
Needless to say the scenery is magnificent and there are a good few more caches along the way to make it worth the drive. Whether you want a few drive-bys on a horrible day or a moderate or challenging walk into the Cheviots you have been provided for.
