Geocache Description:

A road-side cache which may take quite a bit of sniffing out

If you can smell the coffee you're not too far away. It's been right quiet over Christmas. I was real miserable. As you may know my kid bro did a runner just before Christmas. We still don't know where he is. All we know is what is on his web site and the info in the logs his visitors have left. So we know he's OK. It made for a right miserable time. Opening presents just wasn't the same. Mom was certain he'd be back at Christmas. We had five piles of presents but only the four of us. Mom even laid out kid's place at the table. It were real morbid really. Even big sis wasn't happy. She helped Mom n Dad with the meal and tried to cheer us all up – but it were an up 'ill struggle. It was new years day that did it for me. We ad a late night. We saw the new year in with some friends and probably had a bit too much pop. You know how it is... Well the next day I was right depressed. Kid wasn't there and everyone was making new year resolutions. I made mine too. I didn't tell anyone though. Not 'till now anyway. Not even sis. I looked up kid's web site again and saw how he said he was “Cache Napped” by a chap in a Tonka Toy. I resolved to go after him. See if I could track him down. I didn't do it straight away. I waited three weeks till all the fuss and morbidness had died down. I left the house when Mom and Dad were out shopping. Sis was busy with here books as usual. She didn't notice anything. I remembered kid said he crossed over a bridge and was cache napped – so I went over the bridge and hung round watching the Tonka Toys. Soon one stopped and the chap asked what was wrong. I told him I was running away from home to find kid. He said he'd help me. Kid said he'd been with his “Cache Napper” about 5 minutes. The nice man took me along the road. It seemed about 5 minutes – but I don't know really. It was a real big Tonka Toy he had. He had an even bigger one on the back. Said it was going far away to another land. Anyway he let me out. I climbed up the bank away from the Tonka Toys and started looking for kid. I've been looking for ages now. Still can't find him. I think I must have got the directions a bit wrong. Not sure how though. I think I did everything kid did. Just doesn't seem to have got me to the right place. Anyway – I'm not going home. It's too morbid there. So I've found myself a nice little place of my own. It quieter than Mom and Dad's I get a few Tonka Toys past the back door – but the real noisy ones are further away. Do drop in and see me sometime. When you've been round leave a note on my web site so Mom and Dad can see I'm OK. Hopefully kid will see it too. May be he'll come and look me up. I only have a small place – so not much room for trinkets or the like. I have got a log sheet – but no pen or anything – so please come prepared. I often have coffee on the go. If you smell it as you pass – then I'm probably at home. I look forward to seeing you soon.
