Geocache Description:

Apollonas Bay

A micro cache in the picturescque village of Apollonas in Naxos. It's placed there for give you the motivation to visit the most faraway village of Naxos island in the northern side. The distance from Chora is about 50 Km. In the small village you will find a small sandy beach, boarded by a few nice taverns. It's worth to visit the beautiful statue of Kouros, which is a half-finished statue of 10.5 metres, dating back to the 6th century BC.
You can go to the village Apollonas with your own car or by the public bus. (Naxos bus timetable)

The cache is a plastic cylinder box big enough to contain a logbook, a stash note, some trade items, a pencil, (bring your own just in case) and easily can hold TB's and GC's. It is placed near the area of Kouros, so in the summer when there are many muggles in the area, be careful. Place the container exactly in the same place where you will find it.
